If you’ve played the iOS version of Jelly Defense, stick with it-you’ll find the controls on the Mac version somewhat limiting. 'Jelly Defence is a subtle proponent of the tower defence genre, getting you to consider very carefully exactly where and when each wobbly organic-looking tower is built and upgraded, as well as which sorts of foes it will damage most effectively in this delightful test of tactics and memory. I found that a trackpad was just about impossible to use-I couldn’t get the hang of tapping and dragging on the trackpad for the game specifically, and when the pace was extremely fast, it was failed experience for me. Jelly Defense is still very playable with a mouse, less so with a trackball. There’s nothing complicated about the graphics, but they have an appealing cartoon-like quality with a style that was carefully thought-out and not hastily put together. The music is similarly unique and fun, with a very catchy vibe going on. #JELLY DEFENSE GUIDE FLUFFYVILLE SERIES#Located on a planet inhabited by a series of jelly based creatures of both the good variety and the bad, everything is quirky yet distinctive. What makes Jelly Defense enjoyable is that it successfully combines challenging gameplay, attractive graphics, and a playful soundtrack. Jelly Defense definitely wins in terms of looks and music. ![]()
